Ibn Batthah in Al-Ibanah Al-Kubra (no. 278, volume 1 p. 379) narrated from Hafsh bin Humaid that he said, I once asked Al-Imam 'Abdullah bin Mubarak: "How many groups is this Ummah divided into?", he replied: "Originally there were only 4 sects: Shia, Haruriyyah, Murjiah, Qadariyyah. Then Shia was split into 22 sects. Haruriyyah was split into 21 sects, Qadariyyah was split into 16 sects, Murjiah was split into 13 sects."
I asked him again, "O Abu 'Abdirrahman (kunyah 'Abdullah bin Mubarak), I haven't heard you mention Jahmiyyah?"
He replied, "You just asked me about the sect of the Muslim."
Al-Imam Al-Bukhari in Khalqu Af'alil 'ibad explicitly takfir the Jahmiyyah and Rafidhah, as well as Ash-Shaykh Muhammad bin Abdil Wahhab in Kitabut Tauhid and other Ulama .
